It was an absolute pleasure to again be working with The Mosaic Studio team. This time, the tables were turned as they entrusted us with a brief to provide the best layout and solution to showcase the diverse projects they deliver. We were able to advise them on various formats and paper finishes, and produced a new company brochure which they were over the moon with, and offers flexibility as they continue to add to their impressive portfolio. To complement the design of the brochure, we supplied them with a more refined logo identity and also photographed the team in action at their studio.

If you fancy being inspired, check out their beautiful work here.

Always a pleasure to be back at the Roslin to capture their beautiful surroundings.

Below are a few of our favourite photos from our most recent visit.

We were recently asked to breath some life into the Charfleet’s product photography, which demonstrates their quality, ultimately giving these high end books the attention they deserve.

We’re please to showcase the brand new website for local civil engineering company W&H Roads.

Roads have been the go to specialist in civil engineering and groundworks for over 50 years, and with a reputation built on quality and service, we have provided them with a website to match.

Alongside the responsive website, we also supplied on site photography of their impressive fleet of vehicles.

Great to be back at the Roslin to capture the stunning setup for weddings and the exquisite food on offer – such an enjoyable day.

We’ve been to such exciting locations with Eurogroup this year to shoot their sumptous bespoke cinema seating,
from Abbey Road, to Cadbury World and the gorgeous Everyman cinemas!

Upon completion of the exterior mural, we then turned our attention to the interior, and suggested teaming up with local artist Paul Siggins and his team from the Mosaic Studio to create a beautiful one off piece.
After a joint site visit, we agreed on a wave design, with contrasting letters. The mosaic was created at Paul’s studio and approved in stages, which meant minimum disruption when it came to installing the mosaics.

The glass mosaics blend beautifully with the colours we had chosen for the exterior and also with the existing scheme within the restaurant.
It was a real pleasure to deal with the Paul and his team, and the finished result is really impressive.

Summer is fast approaching and the guys at Ocean Beach called us up to make some exciting updates in time for the season.

Our first task was to design an impactful update for the exterior mural. We painted the first Ocean Beach mural when they opened back in 2006, then updated it again in 2012, so we were extremely excited to be asked to paint it’s third evolution. It’s a huge wall, with loads of potential and lots of passers by! This was the most ambitious to date.

We took great care choosing the paint colours, carefully marked everything out and masked the lines with tape to ensure the best results.
We decided to spray the logo and some finishing touches with stencils, again to get a crisp clean finish.

Painting the mural was really enjoyable, we had great feedback from passers by and we are really pleased with the final result.
You really can’t miss it, if you are in Southend on a sunny day, go take a look!

Keen to offer something different for our lovely clients at Christmas, we were inspired to delve into the unknown, and create something unique, branding locally brewed craft beer with our own labels and packaging. An exciting and enjoyable venture for us, we knew we would love handing them out to our contacts and maybe entice some new ones along the way.

Got the bottle

We’re always enthusiastic to work with local companies, and we are fortunate to have a brewery just up the road, so our first stop was Georges Brewery in Wakering, with help from the owner, Mark Mawson, we sampled a few beers and decided on the deliciously different Wakering Gold.

Design time!

We continued our research and called in some help from our copywriter to incorporate our message and ethos. We started putting some ideas together, and went through many prototypes to get the right size and design to suit the bottles.

On a roll

When sourcing a printer, we were looking for a company who could deliver a beautiful, professional finish which was cost effective without compromising on quality. We opted for a digital print onto metallic stock which would really show off our brand colours and showcase our design. The printer had heaps of experience with drinks labels so we were keen to take on their suggestions to get the best outcome.

Pack it in

In order to present our beers in the best possible way, we sourced some carriers for an attractive and practical solution when handing out the beers. We also enjoyed creating some accessories to personalise them further.

Truck loads

A fruitful trip to the brewery and we returned with a truck full of clinking beer bottles!

Stick with it

We were really impressed with the printed labels, and our studio turned into production line for a few days while we labelled all the beers by hand.

Cheers!

Finally after all our hard work we were able to deliver the beers just in time for Christmas! We were really pleased to hear how much people enjoyed them. If you missed out, we still have some here waiting for you!

We’re really keen to do more of this kind of thing, so, if you would like us to brew up some ideas for your company, or need your own products photographed, please get in touch!

Your school website is perhaps your strongest marketing tool. Parents will expect to see a website that is quick to load, easy to navigate with a clean design and is responsive so that it can be easily read on a laptop, mobile or tablet. At Insight we work with you to create a completely bespoke responsive website that suits your organisations requirements. We can also host your site and help you to optimise it so that it can be found more easily in search engines.

Our school photography service can provide your website with beautiful, striking imagery.

We understand the constraints of working within certain time frames, and will always work towards planned objectives for all your design and communication needs, from conception through to delivery.

It’s always a fun day when Totes are in the studio! Here are a selection of photos from their recent photoshoots.

We were recently approached by Avocet Aviation, a Southend based aircraft spares and support company who were in need of a quick turn around on a new website and promotional material for an upcoming exhibition.

After an initial meeting, it was decided that their current material was looking very dated and needed a fresh new look.

The first thing we needed to arrange was taking new photos of some of the aircraft parts and their office/warehouse.
One challenge was to take an interesting and dramatic shot of their warehouse, and with some clever lighting and a bit of retouching we got it.

For the product shots we photographed them in our studio and as most of the parts are white we put them on a blue background to make them really stand out.

Next on the list was the website design and build. The new website needed to be responsive (mobile friendly) and have added features such as a parts search facility that shows the latest stock levels.

Within a few weeks the new website was designed, built, tested and ready to go live.
The following images show the before and after:

Whilst the website was being worked on we made a start on the new exhibition stand, incorporating the design elements from the website and the new photos. It ended up being the largest stand we’ve done!

Here’s the old stand and the new improved version!

Alongside the website and stand they required new business cards and a brochure. This also needed to be designed and printed in time for the exhibition. We’re proud to say it all got done in time and most importantly the client was happy!

We recently called upon the services of Matt and the team at Insight to create a new website, exhibition stand and advertising literature at very short notice, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Having originally given the project to another design company we found progress slow and unlikely to meet the required deadline for our first show of the year. After handing it over to Insight they quickly produced several good designs for us to choose from and the project moved on to completion well within the required timescale. Our thanks to the whole team, who throughout the process were proactive, creative and professional, we will definitely be using them for future projects.
